Wedding at Crest Pavilion in Asheville,NC

This past Saturday I draw wedding caricatures at the Crest Pavilion in Asheville. Really nice venue. Tiffany the bride asked me to hang my drawings up as I finished them. Great idea! Here is my set up before I started drawing and a few of my finished caricatures. One couple told me they are going to recommend me for a friends wedding!

Newlywed Couple Caricature

Here is a commissioned caricature for a wedding couple. Shown is my very ruff initial sketch and a cleaned up version I showed the client. In the inked final I made some more changes like the perspective of the sofa and moved the nurse hat and his cheese. Watercolors were used. At the rehearsal dinner the illustration was presented and I drew live caricatures of the guests.
